Ok, I ask this, why are the crystals so damn easy to get?
If their power crystals, anyone can steal em and pretty much go uber.
Shouldn't they be protected from intruders, like having some sort of Boss aka Guardian
protecting them? Even if mario was a good guy, the guardians would test them if must.
But yea, that's just my 5 cents and this is your story, just wondering that's all.

All in all, good work for your first., You get a 9.. out of 10.

Great job, suggestion, try and add combo moves into the game. (besides the uppercut)
and make it longer, I enjoyed the bullet hell of fireballs though, tis deadly.
Also add more opponents in the game, perhaps add some bosses besides bowser?

all in all, it's good, just was too short.
